You give it a peptide name, and optionally a specific claim you've seen. PepGuard retrieves evidence from PubMed, ClinicalTrials.gov, and openFDA, then an AI model summarizes only what it found into a safety signal, an FDA regulatory status, a set of risk flags, and citations linking back to the sources it actually used.

Leave the claim field blank and you get a compound report: a general read on the evidence and safety signal for that peptide. Add a specific claim ("heals tendons in 2 weeks") and PepGuard evaluates that claim directly against what it can find.

Yes, build a "stack." Pro and Clinic plans add interaction analysis across the compounds in your stack, plus a dosing calendar and adherence tracking.

We pull from peer-reviewed literature (PubMed), registered trials (ClinicalTrials.gov), and FDA regulatory data (openFDA). Every verdict links back to the primary sources it actually found.

Identical requests (same peptide, same claim, same mode) can be served from a cached result instead of running the search again. It still counts as one check against your plan's limit.

No. It cites and summarizes third-party sources. A citation on PepGuard points you to where you can read the primary source yourself, it isn't our independent verification of a claim made elsewhere. The AI can only cite sources it actually retrieved, it can't invent a reference.

Yes. Signals reflect the evidence available at the time you ran the check. Studies get published, retracted, or superseded, and regulatory status changes over time.

You can search for any peptide name, it's not limited to a fixed list. If there isn't enough published evidence to work with, the report will say so with a "limited data" label instead of guessing.

A 0-10 score reflecting the strength and quantity of what PepGuard found, weighted by things like study design and sample size. It can come back empty if there isn't enough evidence to score.

PepGuard needs a real amount of substantive material from its sources before it will assign a score. If it finds solid evidence, it scores it 0-10 and cites what it found. If it comes up short, it says so, with a clear "limited data" label instead of a confident-sounding number with nothing behind it.

Approved, investigational, unapproved, banned, or unknown, based on public openFDA filings at the time of your check. It's US regulatory data only, it isn't a safety endorsement, and it can change.

A short list, up to five, of specific questions the report generates based on what it found, meant to take into an actual conversation with a licensed healthcare professional. They're included in the PDF export on Pro and Clinic plans.

No. PepGuard is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a licensed healthcare professional. Nothing on this site diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any condition, and nothing here should be read as a recommendation to use, or not use, any peptide or other substance.

No. PepGuard is explicitly built not to give dosing instructions, treatment plans, or a diagnosis. The dosage calculator is arithmetic, converting a vial size, water volume, and target dose into a draw volume, it isn't a dosing recommendation.

Many of the compounds covered on this site are sold as "research chemicals" and are not approved by the FDA (or equivalent regulators) for human use. Where PepGuard shows an FDA status, it reflects public filings at the time of writing, it is not an endorsement, and it can change.

No. Using PepGuard, creating an account, subscribing, or emailing us does not create a doctor-patient, pharmacist-patient, or any other clinical relationship. Always consult a licensed healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing anything related to your health.

No, there's no free tier. Every check requires an active paid subscription, on Starter, Pro, or Clinic. Starter includes 100 checks/month (33/week) and 1 stack. Pro includes 125/month (60/week) and 3 stacks, plus stack interaction analysis and PDF export. Clinic includes 165/month (100/week) and 10 stacks.

Every peptide or claim you submit counts as one check against your plan's limit for that period, even if the same request was cached from an earlier check. Limits reset weekly or monthly depending on your billing cycle.

No, we don't offer refunds. You can cancel anytime from your account's billing settings and you'll keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

The content of a check is sent to our AI provider (OpenRouter) solely to generate that report. Per our provider agreement, it isn't used to train models, by us or by the model provider.

No. Payments are processed directly by Stripe, we never see or store your full card number.

You can delete individual stacks from your account. To permanently delete your whole account and all its data, use Profile then Delete account in the mobile app. On the web, or to request a full data export, email hello@getpepguard.com.

We use Ahrefs Analytics to understand site traffic, no advertising pixels, no marketing cookies, and we don't sell your data.
